The video emphasizes the need for comprehensive mental health care and highlights the positive impact of community-based programs like 9Muses. Despite progress in the 1980s, the U.S. has regressed in mental health care due to stigma and budget cuts. The video calls for mental health reform, showcasing 9Muses as a model for positive change. It underscores the importance of treating mental illness with appropriate care rather than incarceration, advocating for a compassionate and effective approach to mental health.

Thumbody, Too is a 45-minute presentation for Kindergarten classrooms, serving as a prequel to the Grade 2 version. In this engaging session, a thumb-shaped puppet teaches children about their uniqueness, emphasizing that everyone has different fingerprints. The presentation covers themes of respect and responsibility. Kids not only adore the puppet but also enjoy the songs, coloring activities, and making their thumbprints! They learn the importance of expressing their feelings (happy, sad, scared, and mad) and understand that they are special, even if some things are challenging for them. Additionally, they are taught appropriate ways to handle anger and what to do if they get separated from their adult in a large store.

Best of all, this video can be used copyright-free, making it easily accessible for everyone. Use this tool to teach and inspire young minds in your classroom!
